55K Jpeg Tai Daeng Mosquito Net (pha mung) from Xam Tai in northeast Laos. Approximately: 61" x 65" on the sides and 60" high; hanging pockets extends 4" from main 'box'. Four panels on each side of handspun, handwoven indigo cotton, with silk and cotton heading border in good condition; top of four panels (one is pieced making three parts) gold-colored handspun, handwoven cotton. One side (side 'd') has a panel replaced, or of darker color indigo. Several patches and some holes, although none are larger than 1". A few patches of supplementary warp scraps. All handstitched. Early 20th century.
