I understand from John that there will be a book by Susan Rodgers (the curator) and a catalogue (by John) but they will not be printed until late October as the materials still have to go to the book designer. No further details available at this time.

I have managed to extract a couple of images out of the (very large PDF file) of the exhibition handout which John mailed to me to give a taster! Sorry they are rather out of scale with each other as the first is a skirt and the other a pua kumbu. Forum members will no doubt remember that John has a very fine collection of mainly Ibanic textiles from Borneo so it should be an exciting exhibition to view.

Wish I could be there! This promises to be a great show, and I am really looking forward to the book, which I understand is due out by October.

Best wishes,
Peter

John has shared with me a recent review of the exhibition by Jeff Spurr which appeared in Hali magazine and John has said that it can be posted on the forum.

See a link to the Holy Cross website which shows several textiles from the exhibition as well as some lovely shots of the exhibition itself - it must have been a joy!
