I have just received a book of photographs on the ethnic groups of Yunnan, China, entitled "Cream of Yunling: - A photo Odessey of Yunnan Ethnic Groups" Shan Ren, Yunnan Art Publishing House 1998. It covers all the major groups of Yunnan including the Dai, Zhuang, Wa, Hani and many more in lush, vivid, beautifuly reproduced images. (The photos are by Zhang Songquan).
It has the added advantage of including an English text, and is thus a useful addition to any library of books on Chinese minorities.
I ordered mine via ABE books after having seen a copy in the Anthropology Library at the British Museum. (I don't think there are any more copies on ABE at the moment. Putting the title into Google however is worth a try)
