Hello, I am a new member to the forum, . I collect woven textile from peninsula Malaysia such as kain limar a type of ikat cloth that have cease production more than 100 yrs ago. I hope to share and gain knowledge from the forum members

I am going to move this thread to the main 'General' section so that it does not get missed in the 'Tribal textile shopping' although I know that, as a fellow collector, 'shopping' is important :D

Would be great if we could get an informative thread going on kain limar.
