Dear Sir/Madam,

We are a group of artisans from drought-hit and world's 7th largest desert Tharparker in Pakistan. We produce some of the world's oldest-surviving quilt making traditions. Our colourful 100% cotton and 100% handmade Ralli Quilts, Table Runners and hand-embroidered cushion and pillow case designs could be viewed at www.ralliquilt.com.pk
Please visit our website as we think some of our artisans quilts could of interest. Our main aim is to fight stark poverty from the rural folk arts of the desert of Tharparker. You can view our area on google earth by searching (Diplo, Pakistan)
Ours is a juried folk artisans' group whose Ralli Quilts, Table Runners and Ralli Squares were displayed at the 3rd International Folk Art Market, Santa Fe, New Mexico on July 8-9, 2006.
If you are not interested in folk art cotton quilts than please forward this message to any fair trade craft shop you know and join our efforts at eradicating poverty for any or some of our women artisans from the desert. Since we are not a business group, hence we prefer in dealing with those shops professing fair trade.

Regards
Mohan Valasai

I have moved this post to the Tribal textile shopping forum as being more appropriate and also activated the link. Pamela
