My appologies to anyone who tried to access the forum on 12 and 15 Feb this week. I am afraid that the ISP that hosts the forum took the unilateral decision - with no warning whatsoevere - on 12 Feb to change all the passwords connected with their hosting, including the passwords needed to access the forum database. The forum's guardian angel, Jose, fixed this very late on Tues 12th. However, yesterday, Fri 15th, the forum crashed again. I didn't even realise it had happened until late in the day as my local electricity company switched the power off for the neighbourhood for 7 hours for major maintenance/upgrade work and I had no internet access. This time we don't understand why there was a problem although we know what it caused. Anyway, Jose and I managed to repair the relevant file last night.

We are now hoping that all will be well but with some niggling doubts as we don't know what caused a particular part of the database to lock up yesterday.

Fingers and toes crossed.......
