We are just back from a beautiful weekend in Paris where we visited the exhibition "Costume d'enfants miroir des grands. This exhibition was worthwhile visiting. Krishna Riboud donated her collection from children clothing from all parts of Asia to the Musuem Guimet. The exhibition offers an extensive view of the unique clothes worn during official ceremonies, religious celebrations or in day-to-day life. A combination was made with pictures from children from earlier days. My friend Sheila Paine told me about this exhibition. The clothing were beautiful displayed. It was a pity that the information that was given was only given in French like in many French museums. Although I need to sit down to read French I have bought the book that was made because of this exhibition: "Costume d'enfants miroir des grands.” ISBN 9782711857593.
On the website of the museum there is a link to a short film that was made.
