Back in March this year forum member Monique Derwig travelled to Thailand. She kept a journal of her trip from which she compiled a lively story featuring the people and textiles that she found especially in the north in the Chiang Rai and Chiang Mai areas where, in the latter, she met up with forum member Susan Stem. On her return home Monique sent me the text of 'Treasure hunt' in Thailand with accompanying photos.
