A call to all members not to trust any posts by spammers or otherwise very unwelcome posters on this forum who are clearly not genuine textile enthusiasts.

We are constantly under attack and Susan Stem and I are trying to keep up with them. I am RUTHLESS in deleting 'members' who are clearly using the forum for their own ends to sell sex, viruses, medications and other non-tribaltextile related items.

As you know, we run a special forum for tribal textile related shopping posts and members are free to post info about their own textiles for sale or others about worthy efforts to promote indigenous peoples to maintain their skills and sell for a fair price.

However, anything else is strictly banned!

Why the special WARNING today? Well, in the last couple of days Susan made the mistake of clicking on a link in one of the spurious posts and found that it sent a trojan/worm to her system. Thankfully she thinks she now has it cleared - but what a worry and waste of time and energy. She has been worried that the post showed 7 views before she deleted it and someone just may have also clicked one of the links and been similarly attacked.

Please, please be careful! As the attacks are constant such posts will be there for a period before we can get to them and delete.

I am sorry if I delete any genuine new members as I try to clear out all the riff-raff. If I do, please contact me via the main tribaltextiles.info website - there is a link on every page to contact me. If you click the tribaltextiles.info logo on the top of every forum page it will take you directly to the main site.

Do make sure that you invest in a good antivirus programme - it is essential for life (not death!) on the web today and make sure that you keep it up-to-date.

End of lecture!

Every best wish,
