this cloth is approximatively square (70x70 cm), cotton made, embroidered sewing between the two parts.

No idea of the origin (may be south america ?)

I would agree with south America here. Either Peru or Bolivia. This is typical of the mantles produced there in modern times. They are often made of two pieces that are sewn together like this. Its a complex area though. I know the basics but not enough to confidently identify the correct region.
